Early Life
Although DJ Neptune was given the full name Patrick Imohiosen and is from Edo state in southern Nigeria, he was really born on September 25 in Lagos State.
He is the lone male child and the last child born in a family of four.
He is a Christian and spent the majority of his time in Lagos, a business hub.
Mr. Imohiosen, his father, had also intended Patrick (DJ Neptune), his only child, to pursue a career as an engineer. However, the Lagos-native was certain that he wanted to pursue a career in music because he had already fallen in love with it.
Education
DJ Neptune completed his whole education in Lagos State, Nigeria, starting with primary school and continuing through college.
He completed his primary and secondary schooling in that order, earning the Senior Secondary School Certificate (SSCE) as well as the West African Examination Council (WAEC) certificate, which were both required.
After that, he continued his studies at the University of Lagos in Lagos State, Nigeria, where he focused on mass communication.
Career
At the tender age of ten, DJ Neptune first became interested in being a disc jockey. He began by amusing his family and friends.
In 2001, he graduated to professional DJ status under the guidance of seasoned DJ Douglas.
Between 2004 and 2010, he served as the official DJ of the well-known radio station Ray Power 100.5, where he rose to fame.
Later, he was hired by well-known Nigerian rapper and singer Naeto C to serve as his official DJ.
Soon enough, he began to consider developing his reputation as a successful DJ. He began creating mixtapes at this time for online download for free.
After a few months, he launched his first collaboration with Nigerian rappers MI Abaga and Naeto C in the 123 remixes, proving that the plan to promote his brand had been successful.
More singles from DJ Neptune followed, including “The Late Dagrin” with MI Abaga, “This Gbedu” with Ice Prince, “So Nice” with Davido and Del B, “Baddest” with Olamide, “Scooby-Doo” with Jesse Jagz, “General Pype,” and “Lynxx.”
With the help of artists like Davido, Mr. Eazi, Niniola, Olamide, Mayorkun, Runtown, Phyno, Maleek Berry, C4 Pedro, Zoro, Small Doctor, Slimcase, and others, DJ Neptune has successfully launched his debut smash album, Greatness, which has 13 songs.
Wait with Kizz Daniel, Mia Mia with Mr. Eazi, C4 Pedro, and Nobody with Joeboy and Mr. Eazi are some of his most streamed and downloaded tracks.

Ese Imohiosen, a stunning woman, is the wife of DJ Neptune. The couple wed in late December 2012 at a lavish ceremony that was attended by many famous people.
