Rapper and singer Akintunde Abiodun Timileyin was born on February 16, 2000. Professionally, he is known by the alias T.I. Blaze.

With hit songs like Try Me, Sometimes, Zero Joy, Gbedu, Feelings, and Oba, he is that newcomer who is shaking up the Nigerian music scene.

After one of his singles went viral in the nation and received a ton of radio play, he shot to fame in 2021. Street Pop artist T.I. Blaze focuses on the Indigenous Rap (Yoruba) subgenre.



T.I Blaze moved from Ogun State to Lagos to launch his music career. He started by composing a lot of Street Pop songs and recording them in studios in his neighbourhood.

He performed some of these songs at events and music shows. He also participated in different music competitions, showcasing his talents to the world. By doing this, T.I Blaze was able to build a name for himself in the underground music environment of Lagos.

The talented artist struck gold when one of his singles went viral on the internet, and music-loving Nigerians began to stream and download the song. The single had amassed millions of streams across digital music channels in a matter of days.

Riding on the wave of his first major success, T.I Blaze has seized the opportunity to make a name for himself. In the subsequent months, he has released a couple of hit singles such as Zero JoyU Are The OneFeelingsObaSometimesVibezBallers AnthemGood LifeTomiwa, and Nobody Cares.

In 2021, T.I Blaze dropped his debut EP titled The Fresh Prince Of Lagos. The project is home to hit songs like ObaGbeduTry, and Basic. Since its release, the EP has topped several Street Pop and Afrobeats charts.

T.I Blaze dropped the remix of Sometimes (featuring Olamide) in February 2022. He released the video of the trending single, Try, in March 2022.

T.I Blaze has collaborated with a host of music acts such as Barry JhayBlxckieRasaqi NFGSeyi VibezGoldenson, and Rexxie.

T.I Blaze appeared as a featured artist on the hit song, Overload (Kala) by Pa Brymo. He was also featured on Salle‘s single, Soul.
